Playing with paper. Rewarding fun :) The jugs come from Marlies of course! Thanks Marlies, they are fun to make. The map is of the Sydney area, it's to go in a drawer in my 3rd grandsons kitchen roombox. Grandson no.2 made the flowers, aged 12.

There's no doubt about it - you are a talented family! Good job well done by your 12 yr old grandson :) I like all those paper bits and pieces, I think they really make a house come alive.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your pitchers! They came out so wonderful. The little floral paper is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteMust be so much fun having grandson's interested in minis too. Love the flowers and the jugs are wonderful too.

Pretty picture with lovely minis!!! Love the jugs and the map
ReplyDeleteThankyou all for your encouraging comments. I'm really a beginner with paper miniatures. I don't even know how to make them shabby properly, they all look too new! Help Norma!!! You are good at shabby ;)
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to play miniatures with grandchildren, we have many laughs and the boys learn to use their hands creatively. We made skateboards and razor scooters once, they specially liked that.
You're doing a great job on your own! I really like those jugs, I've been shopping in the city this morning and Victoria's basement has lots of real ones, all different sizes, and 70% off!! I hadn't noticed before but they aren't painted, but papered on the outside! I was sorely tempted to buy some for the NZ cottage and altho I resisted at the time I might go back tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteThe pitcher jugs and flowers are wonderful - make my attempt look terrible! Love the flowers your grandson has done and the mail looks so good too.
