School holidays Downunder,
grandkids spending a day with us.
We go around the miniatures and see all the new things.
It was the perfect opportunity to take a photo of the lovely
petitpoint tea cosy that I won from Rosanna
Would you care for a cup of tea?
Please take off your hat and have a seat,
and help yourself to a macaron :)
and we'll enjoy a refreshing cup
from beneath that pretty cosy.
Every time I walk past my pretty kitchen roombox
I enjoy a moment peeking in,
and think how lovely it would be to
invite Rosanna to have afternoon tea with me.
Sending hugs to you Rosanna
and I hope your hands are getting better.
Hi Eva! Rosanna makes the most wonderful petitpoint designs, I love my tea cosy :)
DeleteIt is lovely! I can see why you would be peeking in a lot! Im on my way for a cuppa!! lol Its gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Deni! You're welcome to drop in for a cuppa from the pot under that tea cosy any time!
DeleteRosanna's tea cozy adds such a special touch to your already gorgeous kitchen roombox, Susan. Thanks for sharing your sweet mini scene with us! xo Jennifer
ReplyDeleteYessss Jennifer! It's wonderful how well the cosy goes in this kitchen isn't it? I'm so lucky to have it, I love the pretty carousel horses :)
DeleteIt's a wonderful scene. I like the tea cosy.
ReplyDeleteHi Faby, I'm glad you liked seeing Rosanna's tea cosy :)
DeleteHi Susan! Yes, I would love to visit you and have a cup of tea, thank you for inviting us ;)!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your win, the tea cosy is awesome, indeed Rosanna makes beautiful miniatures. But is she hurt on her hands? If so, I hope it will be better soon......
Hugs, Ilona
Hi Ilona :) Milk and sugar or lemon??? Thank you for coming to say hello and helping to celebrate my happy gift :) ....Rosanna had an accident.
DeleteHello Susan! I love that you have won this tea cosy! It couldn't have found a better home to have gone to. What could be better than to reside in a home that appreciates the serving up a good cup of tea! Both you and Rosanna, are tea cosy specialists only with different needles! The pink tints that are in the ponies are the same tints that are in you table accessories and what perfect harmony there is there! I can see exactly why you would stop by your pretty little kitchen and shrink yourself down, cause there is nothing nicer than sharing a cup with a friend!
ReplyDeleteelizabeth
Hi Elizabeth! Heheh, a good cuppa char is improved only by the addition of a conversation inducing tea cosy ;) From posh (like Rosanna's) to peasant (my rampant floral creations) the tea cosy has many fans, no wonder we love to represent them in our miniature scenes! Thanks for visiting Elizabeth!!
DeleteHi Susan, I would fly to your home immediately if I only had a chance!
ReplyDeleteMy hands...yesterday I had the best of news!! they are healing well and the needles and pins feeling is getting weaker every day, it is such a relief.
They told me that in a few months they will be back to normal.
It is only a work of patience, just like minis ;o)
Hugs and thank you for showing your kitchen, I love it <3
Rosanna
Ah Rosanna, that's very good news about your hands!! Patient is another word for miniaturist so I'm sure you will heal perfectly.
DeleteWouldn't it be wonderful to share a pot of tea with our many international friends? Imagine the excitement!
Yes I would love to have tea in that cute little roombox
ReplyDeleteHugs
Marisa
And very welcome you would be Marisa! Thanks for visiting :)
DeleteRosanna's teacosy is very lovely. And wouldn't it be great if we were able to shrink ourselves and have a cup of tea all together in your beautiful kitchen-roombox :-)
ReplyDeleteOh yes Liduina, Rosanna's tea cosy would be perfect for our international tea party!
ReplyDeleteThe scene looks very sweet and cosy =)
ReplyDeleteHannah
Hi Hannah, Thank you! I hope you helped yourself to a cuppa :)
DeleteI'm a bit late arriving - I hope you've kept a macaron for me! Lucky you have Rosanna's gorgeous tea cosy to keep the tea warm all this time ;)
ReplyDeleteThe billy is always on here Norma! I've topped up the pot and popped that gorgeous cosy over it so you'll get a nice hot cuppa! Oh, and miniature macarons are everlasting/neverending, we're waiting for you ;)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much for a cup of tea and the macaron tasted delicious. Rosanna's lovely tea cosy was the perfect addition to an already gorgeous kitchen.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome any time Felma, thanks for dropping in! I'm incredibly lucky to have won my most favourite of all of Rosanna's tea cosies!!
ReplyDeleteThis is what I really love about our little community. Everyone together and in a moment that is yours and mine, we actually can believe we are having tea together, (no sorry macarons are a wee bit too sweet for me and yes lemon, no sugar for me) , admiring each other's petite point exchanging ooh and ahhs and then talking about everything under the stars :).
ReplyDeleteNext time my place?
Yay!! Tea at Sans house, put the billy on and I'll be right over ;) Mhmmmm, (whisper) I don't do macarons either, I tried one once, just a nibble and needed a big bulp of tea after. Then I gave the rest to the Grumpy one with the sweet tooth but it seems they're all the rage in the miniature world so they're provided. I'll bring lemon meringue tart instead shall I? I'm sure the dollhouse residents won't miss their tart......
