What Levi and I made for his modern kitchen roombox today.
We made it from a piece of a worn out Woolworths recyclable shopping bag like this RL one.
And here it is in his kitchen.
It was fun to make and it's the cutest thing to hold in your hand!
It's great, a roombox is a great summer school project :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's taking recycling to a new level! It works really well :)
ReplyDeleteI like so much! is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSusan, that is so cute. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteI like that bag, I think it has turned out nicely!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day,
Lucia
Susan, That came out great. I love how the fabric looks in the photo. Wonderful texture!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a good recycling project!
ReplyDeleteGetting that colour for the bag in a scaled down version of the fabric was impossible so we traded off scale for colour and used the thinnest old shopping bag we could find, some of the older ones are really thick. Levi is happy and we had a good time together!!
That is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteSusan, is so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
Meli
beautiful bag! involve children in the work of recycling is a great idea, teach them to protect the earth from pollution, and protect it from the work of destruction of our adult ...
ReplyDeletekisses, Caterina
I really like how it came out a recycled bag twice!!
ReplyDeleteAww thats so cute!
ReplyDeletei luv it!!!
It's fabulous! What a great idea to use the shopping bag cut down- it really looks so realistic! Wish I had a youngster near me interested in minis- you must have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! 2 years ago we were in Tasmania, visiting my brother, and we have taken these bags along to Holland. If they are worn out I can reuse them :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea!
