  11. You know, all your comments have brought a little tear to my eye. Thankyou for such sweet comments, you're all so kind.

It was only by chance that I even showed these shoettes because they're not a new design.

The shoette pattern was designed years ago but the original thread is no longer available so I spent a few hours re-working the pattern.

  13. So long as they're sweet tears it's ok - usually we prefer to bring smiles ;)

Maybe time to open an Etsy store???

  15. Well, it looks like the shoettes are very popular! Thanks for all the nice comments.

Perhaps I'd better have a give away soon. Heheh, already planned ;) One more pair to make and I'll announce it. There will be the opportunity for 3 people to win a pair.

It may take a day or two for me to get back to my hook, grandkids staying over, much loved brother and family visiting, me is one exhausted old bird!!

  16. I bought a three inch doll recently and your blog gave me Doris' name for the layette! I found that and purchased it as well. The layette pattern you use has booties but not these type. Have you ever thought of selling the pattern? They are a bit small for my baby but with the shaping I can make them bigger. I love your blog, I hope you continue to post again soon.
