    1. Hi Christine, the daffodils are done exactly the same as on the RL size cosy, they just take 4 times as long to make!!! Thanks for looking :)

    1. Hi Margaret. Errrr, that 'silver' caddy (bought on ebay as silver) doesn't appear to be silver, it has never needed cleaning.....glad you like the cosy.

  12. Hi Robin! You are far too kind about my small oddities ;) Hilda Grace has claimed it for the time being though I'm not altogether sure kitsch teacosies are really 1940's!

  14. Hi Susan!! Ha I love it!!! I still don't know how you do such teeny little work. Makes my head hurt. Saw your 'dented' carport. Oh bother. That tree had gotten so big and lovely. You'll miss the shade I would imagine. Seems all of you down there are having our weather. Sorry bout that! Love your mininess Sue!!xx

    1. G'day good Buddy, ha back at you and I love your miniatures...wish I could do wot you do...since I carn't, I do wot I do ;)) As long as wot you do makes you smile, that's wot counts eh?

Yep, our lovely pecan nut tree, gone to the nut farm in the sky. The place seems empty without it and the rest of the garden is getting sunburnt without it's big shady canopy. Darned cool here this morning, wearing a dressing gown. Don't know how you cope with eternal tropical summer up your way, not my idea of fun.

  15. Oh my Goodness Susan, this has to be the most precious teacosy in the world. You should check out 'The Queen of Tea Cosies' for some wild 1:1 versions. Not a patch of this beauty though. Absolutely amazing. Carol :) x

    1. Heehee Carol, not using much of my stash here am I? :) So glad you like the Daffy Teacosy.

Thanks a mint for the heads up re The Queen of Tea Cosies, I toddled on over (read googled) and was utterly amazed! I'd seen those books in the craft/wool shop but, not really being a knitter, I didn't closely peruse. Loved her Daffodil Cosy. Never imagined there was an 'Official' Daffodil Day Teacosy, how cool is that?

  19. Seriously, how can you make such a delightful tea cosy?????? I can't help but keep looking at your creation, drooling all over my computer screen and wishing I could have something like this in my tea room! I'm just super duper amazed at your work. PLus green is my favorite colour when it comes to accessories, and daffodils the best spring flower for me :) And it just reminds me so much of England, especially the wonderful fields covered in daffodils in and around Blenheim Palace. I'm seriously in love with your tea cosy! If only I could crochet... :) Bravooooooooooo
