A Late But Very Happy New Year!

A little late but nevertheless
Happy New Year
to all from

and
(you can click on their names to find who made them)

Are they cute or what?!!!
Cheryl is on the left in his blue snuggle sack,
Kevin is sharing with Alf in the purple sack.

Some of the dollhouse children have been
giving the piggies lap time on the lounge
but it looks like they've left the picture for a moment!
Luckily piggies love their snuggle sacks
and are happy to stay safe and warm and not
get up to mischief with Mothers embroidery.
The dollhouse chihuahuas like the piggies.

Actually, the Real Life chihuahuas share
Real Life Cheryl and Alfies fresh salads
and the guinea pigs have no fear of them.

These miniature guinea pigs are an endangered species,
they are not going to be available when current stock is sold
so if you love piggies go and peek!
Grateful thanks to Katie for fulfilling the dream
of having my precious wheekers in miniature.

Sadly, the real life Kevin is no longer with us but
 how wonderful to have
Miniature Kevin
to help keep his memory alive.

    1. Hi Drora, lovely to see you :) It is a shame these miniature piggies are endangered but miniature Cheryl and Alf and Kevin will be treasured as much as their real life namesakes!

My daughter has adopted 8 guinee pigs from a animal shelter, where they have been dumped and she adores her piggies too ;)!

    1. Hi Jane :) Katie has caught the essence of guinea pig personality with her miniature needlefelted sculptures, they really are as adorable as their RL counterparts who also love their snuggle sacks!

  5. Oh Ilona, how wonderful your daughter has adopted such a large number of guinea pigs from the shelter! I am fostering two boys besides my own two. RL piggies and miniature piggies are adorable little personalities, I love them all!

  6. Happy new year, Susan! Your miniature guinea pigs are totally adorable!!!!!!! A blog friend promised to give me one of Katie's darling piggies, but she never managed to do it. So sad! They're just so darling! It's always great to hear from you and see your wonderful mini scenes. xo Jennifer

    1. Hi Jennifer! I thought I replied to you, sorry about that. Aw, wish you had a cousin to my minipigs, they are gorgeous, perfect for the miniature cavy enthusiast :) Wishing you the best for the new year!

  7. And the Happiest of New Years to you also Jennifer :) Did you ever meet a guinea pig who wasn't adorable, either RL or miniature? I'm sad you don't have one (or two or three) of Katies darling wee characters, she's somehow managed to give them each a true piggie personality. There was no way I was going to get away with having miniature portraits of my boys without also giving grandson portraits of his two beloved boys! We're quite the guinea pig family ;)

  8. Hi Susan! I love the little Guinee Pigs all snuggled up together and I also love the way that you have snug on the sofa with the pups! Everybody looks happy to be together and perhaps they are all waiting for someone to offer them a bit of the Tea items on the trolly. Which reminds me, I would LOVE to have a cuppa with you too! :D
Happy New Year Susan and it is a Real Pleasure to see you out and about on your blog again! :))

    1. Hi there Elizabeth! Please help yourself to a cup and a seat :) I'm sure there's enough tea in the pot and cake and biscuits for all. This little scene is very similar to a real life scene at my house with dogs draped all over the sofa and guinea pigs in snuggle sacks being spoiled by myself and grandkids! I'm praying for a better year with more time to play with my beloved miniatures.
